Hours: Wednesday, 9 -11 a.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m. - noon
Stickers for Fiscal Year 2024 are available for purchase through June 30th, 2024. Your sticker can be purchased at the Recycling Center during normal business hours. A current sticker is required to use this facility. $55 for Hardwick residents; $90 for non-residents. Cash or check payment accepted.
Policy on Holiday Closures Approved by the Commission 11/7/20: The Hardwick Recycling Center will be closed on the following federal holidays, Christmas Day, New Years Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, and Veterans Day when the actual holiday occurs on a Wednesday or Saturday.
This project is funded in part by a grant from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection. We now have Planet Aid boxes for textiles.
The Center takes mattresses when we are open. We have a Bulk Waste Day twice a year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall. A sticker is not required for this event. We recycle chairs, sofas, tables, styrofoam and bulk items we do not normally have a container for.
