Zoning Bylaw Amendment Proposal from Casella - Update

In accordance with M.G.L. c.40A s.5, the Planning Board held a public hearing on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 for the purpose of deciding whether or not to recommend to Town Meeting, an amendment to the Town of Hardwick zoning bylaws. This proposed zoning bylaw amendment (see link below) was submitted by Casella Waste Systems for the purpose of reopening and expanding the solid waste landfill on Patrill Hollow Road. 

On May 1, 2024 the Select Board received a letter from Pierce Atwood LLP informing the board that Casella withdrew the proposed zoning bylaw amendments and other requests for action. Please review the documents below.
