Until Further Notice: All LTC/FID application must be done by mail. Anyone renewing a license should plan on renewing it 3-6 months prior to the expiration of the license. Go to the link below, print out, fill in the form,sign it and mail it to the Police Department. Massachusetts Resident LTC/FID/Machine Gun Application. We will process the application or renewal upon receipt in the mail and call you with any questions or issues. We will mail you your receipts. Mail the completed form along with $100 check made payable to the town you live in. If you are over 70 years old, it is free unless it’s a new license.
